Mor Pankh & Bansuri Pendant with Chain

A peacock feather sweeps sideways across Krishna's bansuri, the plume's eye set in hand-applied green and blue enamel. The open, airy shape keeps it light on the neck — this is a piece for a working day, not only for the mandir.

Materials

Brass alloy with a silver plating — silver-finish fashion jewellery. These pieces are not sterling silver, are not 925, and carry no BIS hallmark. The green and blue in the peacock feather is enamel, applied by hand, so the depth of colour varies very slightly from piece to piece.

Care

Put it on last, after perfume and hairspray. Take it off before you shower, swim or sleep. Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth after wearing and store it in the pouch provided. Kept dry, the finish holds its shine.
