What our jewellery is made of

Zoreya pieces are a brass alloy finished with silver plating. That makes them silver-finish fashion jewellery. They are not sterling silver, they are not 925, and they carry no BIS hallmark. We say so on every product page, on every hang tag, and here.

We are a devotional jewellery brand at an everyday price. Being straight about the metal is part of how we earn the second order.

The enamel

The green and blue in the peacock feather is enamel, applied by hand and then set. Because it is handwork, the depth of colour varies very slightly from piece to piece. That is the nature of the process, not a defect — and it is why no two mor pankh pendants are quite identical.

How to care for it

Silver plating is a surface. Treat it kindly and it holds its shine for a long time:

• Put your jewellery on last — after perfume, deodorant, hairspray and moisturiser.
• Take it off before you shower, swim, exercise or sleep.
• Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth after wearing to remove sweat and oils.
• Store it in the pouch it came in, away from damp and away from other metal.
• Keep it away from household cleaners, chlorine and salt water.

What wears plating down

Water, sweat and chemicals, in that order. A piece worn in the shower every day will dull much faster than the same piece wiped dry and put away. If the finish does soften over time with daily wear, that is normal for plated jewellery — it is not a manufacturing defect, and it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

How it reaches you

Each piece ships with a hang tag stating the base metal and the finish, a care card, and a cotton pouch to store it in. We keep the packaging simple and recyclable, and we skip the plastic wherever the piece is protected without it.

If something is not right

If a piece arrives with a genuine defect, or is not the one you ordered, our Replacement Policy covers it — record your unboxing and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
